Highway Engineer
Mechanicsburg, PA
H2 Engineering Services, Inc. is looking for a qualified and motivated highway engineer with PennDOT experience. Headquartered in Mechanicsburg, PA, H2 provides transportation services including highway design, ADA curb ramp design and Right-of-Way acquisition services.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and coordinate highway design projects.
- Design, review and inspect ADA curb ramps.
- Perform engineering calculations/layouts.
- Coordinate and prepare construction drawings.
- Assist with business development activities and proposal preparation.
- Assist with construction consultation.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- EIT minimum, Registered Professional Engineer preferred
- 5-10 years experience in Highway/Transportation Projects
- PennDOT experience required
- ADA curb ramp design experience a plus
- Proficiency in MicroStation, InRoads

Survey Technician
Mechanicsburg, PA
H2 Engineering Services, Inc. is looking for a survey technician. Headquartered in Mechanicsburg, PA, H2 provides transportation services including highway design, ADA curb ramp design and Right-of-Way acquisition services.
H2 Engineering Services, Inc. currently has an opening for a full-time survey technician for our Mechanicsburg, PA office. Candidates should have a minimum of three years’ field experience in performing topographic surveys, construction stakeout and boundary surveys using total station and data collector. Experience in AutoCAD/Microstation processing topography, construction stakeout and performing minor drafting is a plus. GPS equipment knowledge is a plus. An Associate’s Degree is a plus. This position requires travel to job sites and may require extended overnight stays. LSIT or PLS a plus.
